Ada Gambuzza has been called home to the Lord on August 15, 2024. Formally of Bogota NJ, she was born on the 13th of March 1934 in the town of Pozzallo, Sicily to Corrado and Concetta (Iozzia) Viva.
She was the cherished wife of the late Carmelo and the beloved mother to Lucy and her husband Andrew, John and his wife Nancy, and David and his wife Tanya. She was the adored Nonna to Samantha, Brian, Savannah and Serena. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael and his wife Maria, her sister Clara and her husband Filippo.
Ada’s story is one of enduring love, a journey from the shores of Sicily to a life in the US.
Her life was marked by dedication and hard work. She raised a beautiful family, providing not just the necessities but also the warmth and comfort that made her home a sanctuary for all who entered. She has left us with a wealth of memories that will be cherished and passed down through generations. These memories and her love are the treasures that we will carry in our hearts forever.
Though her physical presence is no longer among us, her spirit is in the eternal calm of the Lord’s embrace. Her life was full of love and kindness, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace.
