Anthony J. Carnevale

Anthony J. Carnevale 70 of Bogota passed away December 28, 2017. Before retiring he was a butcher for Shop-Rite, Hackensack and prior to that he owned Bogota Meat Market for 12 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member and past commander of Ralph H. Hall , Post #5561, VFW, Bogota. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Bogota where he was active with the food pantry. He belonged to Chief Justice White Council, K of C, Teaneck. He was a former trustee of the Bogota Swim Club and founder of the swim club Snack Bar. Beloved father of Dana and her partner Anthony, Danielle, Darci and Joseph. Dear brother of Robert(wife the late Joyce) and the late Francis(wife Audrey). Loving uncle of Cathy, Joanne(husband Robert),Noreen(husband Robert), Robin(husband Danny), Robert, Sean, Megan, Madison, Michael, and Jonathan. Also survived by his former in-laws in the Heflich family. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Wednesday morning at 9 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church at 9:30. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington. Visiting Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Ralph H. Hall, Post #5561, VFW, Bogota or its Ladies Auxiliary, or St. Joseph’s Food Pantry would be appreciated.
