Barbara Ellen Damroth on May 12, 2019 of Bogota. Loving wife of departed US Marine and FDNY William Damroth Jr., Barbara earned her college and masters degree after raising their 4 adopted children at the age of 55 then becoming a teacher at St. Joseph’s Parochial school in Carlstadt, NJ. The selfless and dedicated Mother is survived by her 4 children, Reverend William Damroth III, Jeanne Damroth, John and wife, Linda Damroth and Joseph Damroth, Grandmother to Nadia Denise and husband Sean Crouse, Alex Damroth and Joseph Damroth. Great Grandmother to KayMarie Crouse, Kyli Crouse, Kenzy Crouse and Tyler Damroth. Beloved sister of Claire and husband Bill Hancock and Stanley and wife Florence Scarbeck and her beloved cat, Bailey. Funeral Mass Thursday, 10AM at St. Joseph’s, Bogota, NJ. Interment Br. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran’s Cemetery, Ameytown, NJ Visiting Wednesday  5-9 PM at the Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota.
