Barbara M. Longa

Barbara “Beau” Longa passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock, NJ. She was 61. A life-long resident of New Jersey, Beau was born on September 9, 1958 in Teaneck to John and Barbara Zupan. Beau had an incredible need to care for others, both in her personal life with her family and friends as well as in her professional life in the healthcare field. Born into a large family, Beau was never happier than when she was sitting around the dinner table surrounded by those she loved. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Wayne, children Jason, Shawn and Megan, granddaughters Danica, Stephanie and Skylar, siblings Peter, Mary, Jeani, Johnny, Kathy and Charlie and 15 nieces and nephews. A private ceremony will be held by immediate family on Monday, April 20th, with a Celebration of Life to come. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Beau’s name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
