Bruce G. Trently

Bruce G. Trently 66 of Teaneck, formerly of Ridgefield and Newark , passed away November 18, 2018. Before retiring, he was a weighmaster for the Bergen County Utilities Authority where he worked for 20 years. Prior to that he worked for Bradford Trust, NY, NY for 10 years. Bruce enjoyed working in the garden to make everything beautiful, fixing anything broken, the outdoors, his cats and of course the Yankees. He was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Grammar School, Bogota and Teaneck High School in 1970. He was predeceased by his parents Catherine M. Bruce Trently and Francis P. Trently. Loving husband of 45 years to Carol  O’Donnell. Dear brother of Patricia Flynn (Dennis), Rose Anne Amoresano (Guy) and “Kid Sister” Margaret Lavin (Michael) Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Wednesday morning at 9:30 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church at 10. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Tuesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Food Pantry would be appreciated.
