Camille M. Zampetti Silvestri 68 of Warren, NJ passed away January 22, 2018. She earned a B.A. in Journalism from Douglass College of Rutgers University and continued studies towards her MBA at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her career in marketing earned her the NJ Association of Advertisers, Best Print Ad, and the Advertising and Public Relations Association, Best TV Spot, both in 1988. During her career she was successful in marketing for Kids in the Kitchen; she conceived and produced the first publicity/promotional 800 number for Adolph’s TeleButcher; she authored Procter& Gamble’s Public Relations Guide; wrote acclaimed corporate pamphlets and newspaper “advertorials” on the issues of food safety, hunger and national energy policy; she established her company’s newsletter that improved employee rating of internal communications by 25%; she wrote and produced a full range of sales-support materials: catalogs, training manuals, point of purchase brochures and videos.
She is survived by her loving husband Michael P. Silvestri. She is the daughter of Mariangela Zampetti and the late Nicholas. Dear sister of Nicholas Zampetti and his wife Mariann. Loving aunt of Cristina Sinclair and her husband Brian; Nicole Baron and her husband Christopher; and Michael Zampetti. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Friday morning at 9:30 for the funeral Mass at St., Joseph’s RC Church at 10. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visiting Thursday 5-8pm. Memorial contributions to Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
