Dorothy G. Kerkowski

Dorothy G. Kerkowski 77 of Hawley, PA formerly of Bogota passed away September 16, 2021. Before retiring in 2003 she was a paralegal for Sills, Cummis & Gross, Newark for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church, Bogota where she served as a Lector. She was a former Bogota councilwoman and also served as a Bogota Board of Education trustee. She was an active member of the Bogota Republican Club. After retiring she moved to Woodloch Springs where she served with their Activities Committee and Emergency Services Support Committee. Beloved wife of John. Devoted mother of Jeanmarie Anicito and her husband David; Kimberly Calendrillo and her husband John; and the late John Kerkowski and his wife Carmita. Dear sister of the late Karen Paustian. Loving grandmother of Robert. Jack, Grace, Corey, JJ and Juan. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota Tuesday morning at 9:30 for the Mass at St. Joseph's at 10. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst.
