Elizabeth "Betty" Dyba nee Lombardi 90 of Dumont passed October 19, 2020. Born in NYC on May 24, 1930. She lived in NYC and and later resided in Dumont with her late husband Floyd who died in 1981. She is survived by her daughter Rosemary G. Lombard (spouse James Chambers) and her son Christopher G. Dyba (spouse Jennifer) and her grandchildren Daniel J. and Michael G. Chambers, Reagan and Macie Dyba. She attended Washington Irving High School, NY and Bergen Community College, Paramus. As a young woman she worked at the institute of International Education for the Director of Foreign Students' Division and then King's Supermarket, Cresskill. Betty loved all things Italian, opera, classical music and Broadway. The family will receive friends Wednesday 5-8pm. All will meet at St. Therese RC Church, Cresskill for the funeral Mass on Thursday, at 10am. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Memorial contributions to the Hospice of your choice would be appreciated.
