Ferrina A. Fantin

Ferrina A. Fantin (née Statella) died in her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, December 4, 2023, at age 76, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Born in Motta Camastra, Sicily to parents Biagio and Carmela Statella, Ferrina immigrated to Cliffside Park, New Jersey in 1962. She was tireless in her commitment to her family. Whether it was her younger siblings, her parents, her grandchildren or her own family, she never stopped caring for others. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Giacomo, their daughter Patricia, their son Mark and daughter-in-law Angela and grandchildren, Anthony and Angelina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, New Jersey. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9 at 9:30 AM at Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 115 Fort Lee Road, Bogota, New Jersey 07603.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ferrina’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
