George M. Ritz, Sr.

George M. Ritz Sr. 90 of Ridgefield Park passed away on December 7th, 2019 surrounded by his family. George was a veteran of the Korean war. He was member of the Teamsters Local 560 and Building Manager of Sherbrooke Realty, Rochelle Park. Devoted husband to his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 66 years the late Ann "Queenie". Beloved father of Kathy Davis (Glenn) of Ridgefield Park, NJ; Patti Popolillo (Mike) of Lake Huntington, NY; and George Jr (Patty) of Mahwah, NJ. Loving Grandfather of Alison Davis, Megan Toledo, Ashley Hofsiss, Michael Popolillo, Brian Popolillo, Joseph Ritz, Michele Ritz and Nicole Ritz.  Loving great grandfather of Jayden, Tyler, Jordan, Ava, Jackson, Thomas, Landon, and Sloane.  Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. George was known as a family man. He was happiest with his family and enjoyed his life to the fullest. He always enjoyed spending time with his family at the house at lake. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Wednesday morning at 10:30 for the funeral Mass at St. Francis RC Church, Ridgefield Park at 11. Cremation private.
