Gerard Francis Devine

Gerard Francis Devine “Gerry”   Born in Lettergunnell, County Longford, Ireland, Gerry passed away at his home in Bogota on November 5, 2018. Beloved husband of Ellen Devine nee Byrne for over 53 years. Devoted father of Mary Catherine and her husband Jeremy, Michael Patrick and his wife Anne, Gerard Francis, Sean Kevin and his wife Heidi. Loving grandfather of Patrick, Christopher, Paige, Phoebe, Zoe, Katherine and Norah. Gerry worked for the New York Restaurant Group of Smith and Wollensky from 1977 to his retirement in 2015. He loved spending time relaxing in the park, doing crossword puzzles and reading the newspaper. Gerry was an avid Jeopardy fan, was very proud of his Irish heritage and most of all loved his family. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Monday morning at 9 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Bogota at 9:30. Entombment Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting Sunday, 2-7pm.
