A man of faith, family, and friendship, Harold Goettlicher passed away peacefully, reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Sandra (MacAulay). A lifelong Catholic, he was a Eucharistic Minister and an active member of St. Joseph’s Church in Bogota. Harold lived his life with deep devotion—to his faith, his family, and his many cherished traditions. Harold was the beloved father of Donna Pecci and Harold Goettlicher and his wife Rita; the proud and loving grandfather of Meghan and Kevin Pecci, and Aidan and Fiona Goettlicher. He was a dear brother to Patricia Cheswick, Margaret Erickson and her husband John, and the late Eugene Goettlicher and his wife Patricia. He was also a loving brother-in-law to Janice Homan and her husband Ray, and Douglas MacAulay and his wife Sue. Harold will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his caring neighbors and friends. He dedicated his career to Con Edison and was a lifetime member of the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Knights of Columbus. Harold’s life was filled with simple joys—he loved a good Mary Higgins Clark book, his Reader’s Digest, and a cold Coors Light brew. His happiest moments included summers in Poquott, Long Island, where he met the love of his life at the age of six, countless backyard gatherings, and many years of camping adventures with lifelong friends. Hardworking and steadfast, Harold’s greatest legacy is the love, laughter, and loyalty he gave so freely to those around him.
