Isabel Bove was born August 30,1928 in Union City, New Jersey to Bella and William Jackson. She grew up with two brothers and three sisters: William, Florence, Marion, Joseph and Lorraine. In 1951, Isabel married her beloved husband, Michael “Sunny” Bove and had three children: Michael, Debra and Denise. In 1964, Isabel and her family moved to Bogota, New Jersey where they resided on Summit Avenue- a place that quickly became home.
Her life was dedicated to family. Whether it was Sunday dinners, Myrtle Beach family reunions or large family gatherings at her house on Christmas Day, she loved to be surrounded by loved ones. Over the years, there were many laughs shared and hugs given. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren more than anyone. She never missed a chance to show off their pictures or brag about their accomplishments.
Isabel passed away peacefully at 92 years old at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Isabel was an avid member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Bogota for many years. She was a true believer and we know she was welcomed to Heaven with open arms.
Isabel is survived by her son Michael and his wife Kim Bove; her loving daughters Debra and her husband Thomas Walsh, and Denise and her husband Jeff D’Angelo; her granddaughters Crystal and Brittany; her great grandsons Braden and Austin; her great-granddaughter Jordan; her sister Lorraine Pavero and her many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
