John William Calabrese

John William Calabrese  fondly known as UJ, formerly of Bogota, passed away May 9, 2021. Before retiring he was a towerman for the Port of Authority of NY & NJ. He was a Vietnam Navy veteran, a member of the Ridgefield Park Elks Lodge and had been a volunteer firefighter in Bogota. Beloved son of the late Charles and Constance.  Dear brother of the late Charles, Jr.  Loyal friend and amazing uncle to many. Visiting Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8pm at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota. Graveside service and military honors Thursday, 11am, at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the NJ Veteran’s Home at Paramus, would be appreciated.
