Laszlo Szeredy

Mr. Laszlo Szeredy, age 84, passed away on the evening of Thursday, August 26th, 2021 at his home in St. Marys, Ga.

Mr. Szeredy was born March 28th, 1937 in Dunaszeg, Hungary to the late Joseph and Irene Szeredy.

Mr. Szeredy came to the United States in the late 1950’s from war torn Hungary. Fulfilled his dream and became a proud United States Citizen. He went on to become a successful business owner and lived a full life. He was a great teacher and mentor for his son Lester. He has left behind many lifelong friends.

Mr. Szeredy is survived by his son and daughter in law, Lester and Corinne Szeredy; his sisters, Irene and Gizella; his brother, Joseph; his granddaughter Nicole Szeredy and his former wife, Barbara McHugh.

Besides his parents, Mr. Szeredy was also preceded in passing by his brother, Imre.

A visitation will be held from 11 am to 12 pm Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue Bogota, NJ. A graveside service will follow at Ridgefield Cemetery, 1040 Edgewater Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ.
