Luis R. Rodriguez, 89, of Bogota passed away on July 15, 2021. A decorated Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired Safety Inspector for NY Transit, New York. Devoted husband of Dolores Rodriguez. Beloved father of three sons from his first marriage to the late Elsie Rodriguez: David, Richard and the late Ralph A. Rodriguez. Beloved Godfather to Dolores Rodriguez' daughter, Natalie, step-daughter, Grace and the late Catherine Estrella. Loving grandfather of 12 and great grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Rita Romero, Francisco Colon and the late Luisa Rodriguez. Visiting at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave., Bogota on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM with the funeral service during the evening hours. All will meet at the funeral home on Saturday at 9AM for the entombment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
