Marilyn A. Bartko

Marilyn Bartko (nee Roscher) loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother, of Bogota, 86 years old passed away at Holy Name Marie Villa Hospice Center on November 12th, 2023. The services honoring Marilyn's life will begin on December 1st, 2023, at the Petrik Funeral Home 140 Palisade Ave, Bogota, NJ , from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A prayer service will take place at 12:30 in the funeral home. Friends, family, and acquaintances are welcome to join in celebrating Marilyn’s life.

Marilyn was born in Mount Vernon, New York but was a proud Bogota resident for over 80 years. A pillar in the community, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she married her husband Frank Bartko over 50 years ago. She also taught Sunday School and helped when they established the preschool program. Marilyn spent years working for Sears and as a dental hygienist before retiring in the early 2000s.

Mrs. Bartko is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Frank, son Franklin (Tina) , granddaughters Krista & Kelly, brother, David Roscher and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, older siblings Charles and Helen.
