Michele Moucha Pavlik, 68, of Fairview. After several years of declining health, Michele passed on August 6, 2024. She was born in Yonkers, NY to the late Elizabeth and Joseph Moucha.
She attended Epiphany School, Paramus Catholic High School, and Ramapo College. She had a lifelong love of music and animals, and the home always had multiple pets. Very unselfishly, Michele gave up much of her own career plans in order to be a stay at home mom with her two children, while her military career husband was often flying. She made many sacrifices in support of his career.
Survived by her husband of 48 years, Gregory; her two children Katie Lanza and her husband Nick, and Matthew and his partner Vanessa. Also survived by her brother Gary, brother-in-law Mark, sister-in-law Carolyn, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Ave in Bogota, on Friday August 9th from 3-7pm. There will be a funeral service at 6:30pm.
Cremation will be private; interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests to please make donations to the United States Air Force Wounded Warrior Program.
