Nelly Almeyda 77 of Bogota passed away June 24, 2017. Born in Villavicencio, Columbia, she lived in Bogota, Columbia before coming to the US. She owned and operated N & J Driving School, NY, NY for 20 years. Beloved wife of the late Thelmo T., Jr.. Devoted mother of Alex and his wife Donna. Dear sister of the late Dagoberto Galindo and his wife Amparo. Loving grandmother of Alex, Jr. and Donny and cherished aunt of Luz Nelly and Angelica Patricia. The funeral will leave Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Tuesday morning at 9 for the funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Bogota at 9:30. Entombment Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge, NJ. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
