Robert W. Winkler

Robert W. Winkler 85 of Manahawkin, NJ formerly of Bogota passed away on May 29, 2022. He was a life member of Hose Company # 2, Bogota Fire Department and was a former  Captain and served as Chief of the Department, in 1974. He was a member of the Army National Guard in the ‘60s. Bob loved to play golf and spend time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce who he was married to for 62 years. He was predeceased by his parents Kurt Winkler and Elsie Peters and his son Michael. Loving father of Kim Leuzzi and her husband Max and Robert Winkler and his wife Cathy. Dearest grandfather of Brianna, Alyssa, Gabriella, Matthew, Tyler and Ryan.  Fire Department services will be Friday, 7pm at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, followed by a funeral service at 7:30. All will gather at the funeral Home Saturday morning at 9:30 to proceed to George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus for the interment. Visiting Friday 4-8pm.
