Winifred Katherine Lynn

Winifred Katherine Lynn 85 of Ridgefield Park, formerly of Bogota, passed away January 10, 2019. She was a Past Grand Officer and a member and Past Worthy Matron of Tilden Chapter #59, O.E.S., Tenafly. She was a lifelong volunteer who was most proud of donating 1000’s of blankets and newborn caps, that she personally knitted, to the Maternity Ward at Holy Name Hospital. While having pursued several career paths, Winifred devoted many years to raising her children. She was a faithful mother figure and friend to all of the children in her life. Beloved wife of the late Robert K. Lynn and longtime companion and friend of Charles Kretzschmar. Devoted mother of Diane Elizabeth Lynn Kaplan and husband Mike; Robert W. Lynn and wife Lynne; and Howard Lynn and wife Janis. Dear sister of William Schmidt and the late Geraldine Frank. Loving grandmother of Casandra Elizabeth Lynn, Elyse Lynn Kaplan, Meagan Ann Lynn, Jordan Marie Lynn and Mia Rose Kaplan. Funeral service at Petrik Funeral Home, 140 Palisade Avenue, Bogota, Monday morning at 11. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visiting Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
